To train 180 women with disabilities about basic human rights, the CRPD and the Ghanaian Disability Act, to raise awareness of key stakeholders involved in the decentralization process, and to train members (women with disabilities) in leadership development, coalition building, and advocacy.

To engage local government councilors in Northern, Eastern, and Western regions in dialogue with women and girls with disabilities to ensure that they incorporate the CRPD when executing their duties.
Empowerment through Community Volunteering (ETCV)
To promote knowledge of the CRPD within the local community as a means to improve the quality of life for PWDs in central Ghana through trainings of district assembly representatives and by engaging volunteers to visit PWDs.

To secure equal access and rights for persons with disabilities through raising awareness of the CRPD among local authorities and gaining greater commitments from them for inclusion of persons with disabilities in all locally administered programs.

To increase awareness of disability rights in the community and among local leaders in Gulu District to ensure greater inclusion of the concerns of PWDs in local government programs and budgetary allocations, especially in post-conflict recovery efforts.

To scale up activities in 8 sub-counties to address PWD rights awareness-raising and monitoring (through paralegals) and to increase PWD access to public buildings and services by conducting accessibility assessments.
