To promote the rights of PWDs in six municipalities in Oaxaca especially among Indigenous and rural populations and to increase the knowledge and implementation of the CRPD through strengthening self-help groups of PWDs and their families, promoting a culture of accessibility in the communities, and strengthening synergies for fulfillment of the CRPD.
To increase awareness amongst policy makers, legislators, and others at local levels on the importance of fulfillment and protection of political rights of PWDs.
To develop and pilot a tool for budget monitoring by disabled persons' organizations, to increase resources for persons with disabilities. The project will include development of a training manual on budget monitoring and will provide capacity building and technical support for five disabled persons' organizations (from Yogyakarta's five districts) to do budget monitoring followed by advocacy for increased budget allocations.
To increase DPO advocacy on the CRPD to the local government and the House of Representatives for the 5 regions of Yogyakarta Province.
To improve the participation of DPOs in Yogyakarta Special Province to monitor CRPD implementation.
To monitor the extent to which the implementation of the Yogyakarta government policy relating to issues of education and employment is in accordance with the CRPD.
To build organizational capacity about the CRPD and the Law for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, in order to carry out advocacy on the right to live a life free of abuse and exploitation (Article 16). The project will be implemented in partnership with the Association des Personnes Handicapées de Port-au-Prince (ASSODHAP).
To build advocacy capacity amongst tribal persons with disabilities in 4 mandals of Khammam District, Andhra Pradesh State, to address village committees on rights issues.

To build the capacity of persons with disabilities, especially women with disabilities, children with disabilities, and persons with psychosocial disabilities to combat violence, in accordance with CRPD Article 16.
To increase awareness about the CRPD among PWDs, including domestic violence and sexual harassment, gender discrimination, economic and political exclusion, and access to legal and health services.
